How Are We Doing?

The response has been overwhelming since we launched the electronic edition of 20A Today. We would like to thank everyone for their support and .... criticisms. Thus far it has been a tremendous success. However, we do have a few rough edges to work out. One complaint that we hear a lot is that, "I ain't got a computer." We have been directing our readers to the local libraries in the tri-city sister communities of Culver, Leiters Ford and Monterey for computer access. Another popular option is to flag down Orville of Orv's Odd Jobs. He's got a special going on where you can get a Dell XPSTM M1730 World of Warcraft® Edition computer normally priced at $4499 not including shipping and taxes. Orv's price ... $200 all taxes included and free shipping. You'll have to hurry as he only has a couple hundred left in the back of his pickup truck. At this price Orv doesn't offer any technical support and suggests that you not turn the computer in for any warranty repairs should the need arise.

We switched to this electronic format because it lets us be more timely with the news you want and need to hear. We just couldn't be this responsive with our old monthly newspaper. Thanks again, and if you get a chance drop us a line or leave a comment on this board.

You should a told us that Orv only takes cash. I was gonna pay him with food stamps and the rest out of my change jar that I been saving up for my wifes beauty college fund. I had to make up the difference outta my bail bond change jar. Orv wasn't to keen on taking all those coins.

Merle, make sure you don't get your computer wet. Keep it in a dry place or it will be ruined. I don't want you complaining later that nobody told you to keep it out of the rain.
